Fewer places have garnered such a reputation for being ''happening'',''hipster'' or ''cool'' in the last decade that Portland, Oregon. Anthony Peniche- Fine Whiskey in Fine Time

The micro brewing trend that has stormed the world of consumable goods over the last decade tells us a lot about people's tastes and desires in the modern age. Firstly, it tells us that there is a desire for people to try new unique flavors when it comes to consuming alcohol, and people are ready to favor new and exciting products and brands over the old classics that everyone knows. Secondly, it tells us that more and more people are interested in brewing their own alcohol, from home brewing to setting up small workshops to do so on a bigger scale. Thirdly, it demonstrates how ripe the market is for entrepreneurs, the fact it is possible for them in a highly competitive market to still launch new alcohol products that get received so well and are enjoyed by so many people.

With this in mind, the whiskey industry seemed to be the perfect place to form a new business idea for serial entrepreneur Tony Peniche – The Perfect Pitch. The young Portland-based businessman's latest project Whiskey Elements with time & Oak has factored in all the elements discussed above and launched what is an exciting new venture into the whiskey markets. The Kickstarter project raised over 1,000% of its original pledge, and has helped Tony launch what many are predicting to be a product that will storm the whiskey market for years to come.

Whiskey has risen hugely in popularity over the last two decades, and has fueled the rise of many new distilleries looking to capitalize on people's growing taste for the classic liquor. As any whiskey drinker will know, the best whiskeys are the oldest, the one's that have had time to blend with the smokey flavors of the barrel for many years to give that rich sophisticated taste. This taste difference and rise in quality unfortunately means taking a lot of time, and therefore a lot more money. Until now.

Whiskey Elements' signature wooden flavor infused sticks are the perfect answer to this ongoing dilemma. By putting this stick in home brewed of micro brewed whiskeys for 24 hours, people can infuse their liquor with the richness and sophistication expected in the top shelf whiskeys. There is no doubt it will revolutionize the whiskey market in the future, and is an exiting time for micro distillers to take their businesses to the next level. Tony Peniche- New Opportunities for New Ideas

One of the greatest revelations in the world of business, commerce and enterprise in the past decade has been the rise of crowd-funding and kick-starter style websites. In many ways, these revolutionary ideas encapsulate the modern world of business, and have given rise to numerous exciting and innovative companies and designs. In the past, good ideas didn't always mean they would have the chance to become a reality. The competitive world of business meant that finding an investor was hugely reliant on contacts, and being in the right place at the right time. For Tony Peniche, crowd funding has shaped The American Dream and What it Means Today. It has given a new lease of life to the enterprising spirit that makes this nation so great, and helped ideas proliferate and grow more than any other point in history. For Tony Peniche, there is nothing more gratifying than being able to help others develop ideas, and make them a reality.

Tony Peniche – The Essence of an Entrepreneur

The question that every entrepreneur hears at least once on his or her journey to success is this: Do you have what it takes? This is the question that implores entrepreneurs to delve deep within themselves, searching for the vision that started them on the path towards greatness. A path that will hopefully result in a revolutionary idea or product that will change the world for the better. A path fraught with uncertainty and adventure that requires commitment, dedication, and an innovative mind.

For young businessman Tony Peniche, the path of entrepreneurial success began when he was a student at Western Oregon University, where he obtained his Associate’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Tony initially saw himself as an athlete, participating in Track and Field races and long jump events. However, after completing two years at WOU, Tony realized that sports were not his calling and decided to enroll at the Art Institute of Portland. Here he received his BA in Apparel Design; but more than that, he discovered his passion for the arts.

Tony Peniche chose to make his entrepreneurial dream come true by going into fashion design after graduating from the Art Institute. From 2007-2013, he became an expert in men’s wear fashion, and was awarded Fashion Designer of the Year in 2012 by the Portland Fashion & Style Awards. This was also the year that Tony opened his own commercial photography studio, specializing in editorials, high impact shots, headshots, and fashion photography. Tony’s ambition and perseverance continued to make waves in the creative world with the opening of his company NXT Industries, which designs creative, shared office spaces for Portland creatives, giving others like him an opportunity to take their business, idea, or passion to the next level.

In the wake of his success in the arts, Tony decided to try his hand in a new industry. Through an intensive kick-starter campaign, Tony launched his groundbreaking company Time & Oak, which develops products that enhance whiskey. In 2014, the Tony invented and released the Whiskey Element, a patented invention that allows users to dramatically improve the quality of their whiskey bottles in a mere 24 hours by removing harsh chemicals and making it incredibly smooth.

Tony Peniche exemplifies the true essence of what it means to be an entrepreneur – taking risks, being innovative, and carving your own path in a world that isn’t always kind to those who don’t follow the status quo.
